Top Bananas! The best ever family recipes from Mumsnet - what our bloggers thought

We gave 10 lucky bloggers the chance to review the new Mumsnet cookbook, Top Bananas!

Over the years Mumsnetters have shared and swapped sure-fire recipes ranging from breakfast to Sunday lunches, and one-pot wonders to party food. Right now we have over 2,700 of their best efforts in our recipes section.

Which got us thinking - wouldn't it be a nice and handy thing to publish a book bringing together the best of them? And so began a two year project to bring the Mumsnet cookbook into being.

We tried our best to cover as many different areas as possible, so the book contains chapters on cooking with kids, genius packed lunch ideas and foolproof fast food recipes. With the help of 300 users, we picked out hundreds of the best-rated recipes on the site and put them to Mumsnetters for re-testing.

The whittled down list that made it into the book was chosen by authors Claire and Lucy McDonald, aka the sisters behind the Crumbs Food blog. They tested every one of the recipes that appear in the book, reworking and rewriting them all. Every recipe was also looked over by a nutritionist, too.

Top Bananas! is OUT NOW and you can order it now for £13.40 currently on Amazon - but, of course we wanted to know what our bloggers thought of it. Check out the linky below to read their reviews, and do add your own if you've got a copy - we'd love to know how the recipes have gone down round yours.

And if you need any more convincing, do check out some of the brilliant recipes through the medium of VIDEO! <excited face>
