A Meditation on Murder - what our bloggers thought

In A Meditation on Murder, the creator and writer of the hit BBC One TV series Death in Paradise brings DI Poole - and that fabulous Caribbean setting - back to life to solve a troublesome murder case.

At first glance, the case seems open and shut: when spiritual leader Aslan Kennedy was murdered he was inside a locked room with only five other people, one of whom has already confessed to the murder.

But DI Poole is certain the facts don't stack up - and he's fed up with talking to witnesses who'd rather discuss his 'aura' than their whereabouts at the time of the murder. Determined to track down the real killer, he is soon on the trail, and no stone will be left unturned.

We asked five bloggers to give their verdict on this classic whodunnit - you can find out what they thought below, and do add your own review if you've read the book.
