Join Team Honk for Comic Relief's Danceathon

What do you get if you take a bloggers' meet up, add leg warmers and a sprinkle of Winkleman, and transport it to Wembley arena? #TeamHonkDanceathon, that's what!

Team Honk is a stellar gang of bloggers, tweeters and friends who have been raising money for Comic Relief for the past three years - and now they're asking for your help to make this year bigger than ever.

They're giving you the opportunity to join Claudia and her celebrity friends for the Comic Relief Danceathon, live at Wembley on March 8. That's right - a dance marathon to raise money for a great cause - and Team Honk have reserved 500 places, just for bloggers and their pals!

To join in, all you need to do is sign up here, click on the Team Honk option and use the password danceathon2015. It costs just £10 - plus each dancer is asked to raise £150 in sponsorship. You don't have to be a blogger to join Team Honk, so do invite your friends, badger your Twitter followers and help to get as many people on board as possible.

TH2Team Honk has set its sights high this year with a fundraising target of £100,000 - but this isn't just about getting sponsorship. Comic Relief also wants to harness the awareness-raising power of the blogosphere to get their message heard far and wide, so do make sure you add any Team Honk-related posts to their #RNDDanceathon linky. It's also a great way to find out who else is going and get excited about the big day.

Do watch our lovely Team Honk video, below, too - they recently went to Kenya with David Walliams, to see first-hand how the money Comic Relief raises helps the people there. We'll also be running a fabulous post-Danceathon linky, so you can re-live the day one blog at a time, and keep racking up your sponsorship!

So, if you're ready to don your tap shoes and practice your jazz hands, all that's left to do is register for the Danceathon with Team Honk. You can find out more hereSee you at Wembley!
