Food is moving through your digestive system more slowly now, which can make you feel a bit bloated and windy. 

Eating smaller meals should help, and plenty of fibre and fruit will keep the cursed constipation (another grump-inducing feature of this period of pregnancy) at bay. Avoid gassy foods if poss - beans, broccoli and rich sauces are common culprits - and cut back on fizzy drinks, including carbonated water.
