Right so, I am starting this today.

I love Candace's you tube videos and have been doing them for a couple of years. I've lost my way a bit recently, haven't done any since the start of the school holidays and have been eating far too many icecreams. I'm hoping this might be a good kick start. I feel so much better when I practise regularly.

Anyone else fancy it?

Ooh, I'd love to do this with you. Marking my place! Smile

Yay a buddy!

Day 1 done. I really enjoyed it, why have I not been doing it?! Anyway it is done now and really wasn't too bad. Struggled with the transition from side plank to high lunge but otherwise it was fab!

When do you plan to start Cote?

I'm starting tomorrow morning Smile

I just took a look at Day 1 and got a bit scared it looks slow but challenging. I'll let you know how it goes.

Did you start yet Cote?

Day 1 is done Smile

It was great - just different enough from my usual vinyasa practice to be interesting. I just couldn't do the side plank on just one hand & one foot, hooking fingers onto the big toe thing, though. My middle-aged wrists just wouldn't take it.

I'm pleased you enjoyed it. I'm enjoying the yoga bits, the interval training is hard though.

Day 4 done. I simply couldn't do the second two minutes of (modified) push ups followed by a minute of plank jacks so the last two rounds I did a minute each time of jumping jacks which meant I could at least manage a minute of modified plank jacks. I was a shaking bright red mess by the end though. I did a 10 minute yoga cool down at the end for a nice stretch.

How are you getting on?

Just me thenGrin

Today was supposed to be a rest day but I won't get a chance tomorrow so I did day 6 and I'll have a rest day tomorrow. I did a 20 minute hatha (I never do hatha and I really enjoyed it) Then a 25 minute vinyasa for shoulders and hips - slow and tricky!

I'm sorry to let you down Sad. We had sheath emergency in the family and I have had absolutely no time since Sunday morning.

Don't know when I'll have time for myself again but do post here. I would like to follow your progression.

No worries, hope everything is OK Flowers

I'm going to continue to record each day here, I find it helpful and motivating to know that I have to check in here. If only to talk to myself!

Active rest day yesterday, with lots of walking.

Day 7 HIIT today, very, very tough but good tough! Absolutely no time for any yoga afterwards but I'll do a longer session tomorrow.

I want to get back into C25K once kids are back in school (another week to go), followed by yoga every time. I think it's great that you're doing HIIT along with yoga.

Oops forgot to update yesterday. Day 8 completed yesterday, yoga flow of about 35 minutes, wasn't one I would of chosen but I enjoyed it. So I'll remember that once I've completed this challenge.

Day 9 HIIT, 45 seconds work and then 15 minute rest for 20 minutes. Very hard! But over very quickly and effective.

Cote running is something that really doesn't appeal to me! X

Day 10 yoga completed. Tired and slightly hungover and consequently was really not feeling it to start with. Persevered and I'm pleased I did (and that it's finished!) Loved the 5 minutes of legs up the wall at the end.

Hi there! Can I log here as well? I recently finished the two 30 day yoga with Adriene programmes and happy to find Yoga by Candace. Seems a little more challenging and there was no way I could do the headstand on day 1. Anyway, looking forward to working my way through it although it will prob take me 60 days to do 30 workouts (at least ).

Hi, welcome!

I hope you enjoy the programme. Her style and philosophy really work for me. Don't worry, my head stand is non existent! I modify as needed to make it work for me.

Much needed rest day today. Back at it tomorrow with tons of walking (school runs) and a longish yoga session once the children are asleep.

Day 12 yoga completed, feel good yoga session. I enjoyed it once I got going. I've also walked lots today. A good day.

Day 13, AMRAP of burpees, squats and mountain climbers for 10 minutes. Very difficult and I was a sweaty red mess. Did 15 minute yoga afterwards and practised baby grasshopper. I can get up on both sides now and hold it comfortably for several breaths. Very pleased.

Day 2 done - burpee party and all. It was much more difficult than Candace makes it look, especially as I had just eaten, but I managed and enjoyed the yoga either side of the burpees and AMRAP bits. It's going to be difficult to find time in the weekday evenings but am determined to stick with it. I see that some of her yoga sessions requires blocks or other equipment that I don't have, will have to improvise.
Good luck with Day 14 onwards, hope I get there too.

Well done! I hate burpees, I remember day 2 well! I haven't got yoga block, I just use a book and that seems to work just fine.

Day 14 yoga completed. I opted for the easier choice today, a 20 minutes beginners session, practised baby grasshopper then did the 10 minute relaxing yoga at the end. It was nice to do something well within my capability and be able to focus on transitions.

Good luck today Spinning

Day 3 was nice. I did the beginners version of it - 35 min. I think I'm cheating a little because I may not be a beginner but was feeling a little lazy. I do like her teaching though, and I like being able to practice at home but I wonder if I'm getting it completely wrong. Still, it suits to do a session whenever it suits me.
My dog gets really anxious whenever I do child's pose. He cries and runs over to see if I'm ok, nudges my head. And if I don't reassure him he plonks himself down on the mat. I looked at day 4 and it looks scary.... I hope you enjoy day 15 twenty!

Not a hope of me doing Day 4 this evening. I guess it's a forced rest day. Will get back to it tomorrow I hope!

Morning. My lengthy post from yesterday didn't post for some reason. Anyway, forced myself through a 10 minute AMRAP of burpees, lunges, squats and sit ups. I was totally not in the mood yesterday and felt very tired. I almost had a rest day but eventually did it about 5pm, so today is a rest day. I walked lots yesterday too.

Hope you have a good day Spinning, your dog sounds adorable!
