I'm starting Adriene's 30 days of yoga

I've not done yoga before but it appeals to me.
I'm interested to know if anyone's done this and what they achieved by the end if 30 days.
I'm hoping to lose weight and tone up as I'm dieting and aiming for 10k steps most days.
I'm also hoping for a better sense of 'wellness' if that makes sense. I imagine all that deep breathing to be quite beneficial.
Has anyone got any info or tips or want to join in?

Which one, the Yoga Camp or last year's Yoga Challenge? There was a thread on here that was running in January/February on the Yoga Camp which you'll find useful. I think it's a good course for beginners because it's pretty slow hatha yoga. She offers lots of variations for her poses and if you root about on youtube you'll find her 'foundations of yoga' series which is good for some more in-depth analysis of some of the most popular poses.

I'm now doing last year's Yoga Challenge and it's less cohesive than Yoga Camp (although I do like that each day is quite different as well) and some of her explanations of poses aren't quite as good. But that is a very fussy comment. I really like her style of teaching generally.

As far as losing weight goes I've not but I am getting stronger and more flexible from doing a more or less daily yoga practice.

I finished yoga camp a few weeks ago. It's brilliant. I highly recommend it.
