Perinatal Nursery Nurse Interview NHS Band 4

Hi all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice or tips as i have a interview coming up which is for a perinatal nursery nurse position with the NHS

It will be my first interview in over 10 years! Im very nervous but im trying do as much research about the trust as possible, i would really appreciate if anyone could help with some of the questions which may pop up please

Questions on

  • safeguarding issues / risk
  • current govt policy / NICE guidelines
  • working in an MDT
  • why you want the job
  • what qualities / experience do you have


Caveat - I do sit on interview panels for nurses, but not in perinatal… so I could be wayyyy off.

Thank you farmhouse1234, any advice helps. It’s for the Mother and baby unit working with mothers who are struggling with mental health being a keyworker for the baby.

I have done some research but just wanted a idea of the kind of questions i will get asked as i am really interested in the role x

Hey,
I hope your interview went well (I know it was a few months back)
I have an interview for a NHS band 4 perinatal nursery nurse on Friday. I soooo want the job!!
Any advice? What do they ask at interview?
