Dealing with Comments

I have being doing a job for some time and work for people who specialise in a certain area.

I am good at certain parts of the job but because I had no proper handover and clear communication I haven't been completely sure about other parts of it.

It's not a job that is really my speciality so to speak and I have done better in other roles.

I've heard that a member of the group complained about me and a couple of them make "off" comments in meetings.

However, some members of the group are nice and I enjoy their company at social events.

I would like to move on and do something I can excel at but the job market is really competitive at the moment.

I have developed quite a thick skin over the years but I find these occasional comments embarrassing.

Any advice for dealing with them?

Hard to know - what kind of comments - is this feedback? If so and it's reasonable, say thank you, take it onboard and learn from it.
