Up until the 19th February I was claiming income related ESA.
I have severe anxiety which stops me leaving my house alone.
I was offered a position home based on the 22nd feb.
I did 1 days training and realised my anxiety was too bad to continue.
I assumed I wouldn't get paid as I didn't complete training.
I made a universal credit claim on the 23rd feb and uploaded a fit note.
It asked was I expecting any earnings from a job I clicked no (as it was just 1 day training )
Yesterday the company paid me £385 (they must have ran the payroll before I started )
So if they are paying me I should have only received £77
What do I do in regards to universal credit?
Do I tell them I was paid a week in error ?
Or not ?
I'm confused

You need to contact the company to tell them they've overpaid you so you can pay it back.

Then you tell UC about what you did receive.

The payroll will have sent the information to HMRC already so not saying/doing anything is not a good idea.

How much earnings can I have received before it's taken into account ?
And it effects how much I will get

Do I add the £385 to my journal ?
How do I tell them ?
