Pregnant and being pushed out at work?

Has anybody else experienced this? I was off sick with pregnancy related illness for 12 weeks. Now I’m back, (WFH) nobody bothers with me. Despite asking, I have no work to do. I’ve been told “oh you’ll be off on mat leave in March so there’s no point in giving you a project.”

When I was off sick, I had zero contact from my manager or colleagues.

Do I say something or just coast along until I go on my mat leave and not go back after?

You were off sick for a long time which I know can't be helped but depending on the nature of your job if it's project based then it will be hard to get you onto one now when you are due to finish in another 12 weeks anyway?

It's hard for employers? They are damned if they do and damned if they don't? A lot of employers are told they can't check in on employees on sick leave lest it makes them stressed out etc

We would give you some tasks that didn't involve clients but still needed to be done - there was just never enough time - but you might find that demeaning and unfair - so maybe they don't want to ask?
We have a Senior manager leaving us soon (on good terms) - we can't put him on client work - it would be a disaster when he left - so we ramped down his client work and he is helping with - rearranging the company filing structure, he's writing a few how to guides, setting up framework agreements - bits and pieces, he's busy and he's quite enjoying the variety of the tasks he's been asked to do and understands why it needs to be managed this way.
Maybe you can speak to your line manager and say you'd be happy to take on non client work?
