Really chuffed about the new role but I've been in my current role six year and am anxious to jump ship. What questions should I ask my new employee before I formally accept?

It is a great opportunity and I am excited just nervous for change!

Did you mean employer? If so I'd ask if they had thought about the challenge of onboarding remotely.

Remote working set up
Flexibility
Approach to covid
Benefits package (if not already explained)

Did you not ask the questions you wanted to ask at interview? It's quite unusual in my experience to go back with more questions at offer stage, unless there are particular issues you raised at application/interview stage which haven't had a response yet.

I would definitely asses the salary + benefits against your total package with your current employer.

Wel, I'd ask what are the current projects, what are their current statuses, what size are the teams, what project methodology do they work to, how much collaboration is there across the business, do all projects have senior team buy in, is there a PMO.......etc.
