NHS England job role

Hi, any advice welcome please. I have managed to secure myself an interview next week for a Staff Survey and Engagement Coordinator role for NHS England. I currently work as a Business Officer for an NHS Trust in Leicestershire. This is my first interview in five years. I am reading over the job spec and ensuring I can justify my experience in each of the areas. Any other advice on what I should prepare for this role?

A lot of NHS organisations do value based recruitment.. so look up NHS England’s values and have examples ready of times you’ve exhibited those values.

Also a few interviews I’ve done have had a question at the end about equality and diversity... hopefully given the job role this is something you’ve already brushed up on. But worth having all the protected characteristics in mind in advance.

Remember to take your time answering the questions, you don’t need to rush. Taking your time makes you look like you’re considering the question carefully. And don’t be afraid to ask them to repeat the question if you need a little more time to think.

Best of luck!

NHSE have strict guidance on how they interview. There will definitely be a question on equality and diversity. Let me have a look at my recent interview pack and I will PM you.
