I know some people won’t like the idea of this and that’s fine.
I started a new job 6 months ago. I have hated it since the day I started. It’s horrendous. Severe lack of support in a busy, fast paced area. I have felt sick every time I have walked into the place and it has severely affected my home life to the point where I have became a horrible person as I am always so depressed about work.
However I was lucky enough to get a new job. I’m obviously thrilled to bits about this as I can’t wait to leave my current employment. I’m due back on Monday and the dreaded feeling at the pit of my stomach is back and it’s only Saturday!
At the moment my job offer is conditional pending pre employment checks. My references will be fine as I have already spoken to both who are more than happy to complete my reference. My line manager is actually really great she is aware of the problems I have been having and has tried to help but the seniors above her keep overriding her plans.
I need to give four weeks notice but I don’t think I can do it.
Could my job offer be withdrawn if I go off sick?
