Anyone in HR who can help regarding holiday entitlement when part time

Hello,

I currently work 21 hours a week over three days. I am going to be changing my hours to work 21 hours over four days so 5.25 hours per day (Tue to Fri). Does anyone know if this will in turn change how I request holiday - would it be taken hourly rather than daily? I am sure HR will sort this out but just wondering if anyone in a similar boat or if anyone knows the calculations to work it out?

You could do it in hours or days. Minimum entitlement would be 5.6weeks x 21 hours = 117.6 hours. Or it would be 5.6weeks x 4 days = 22.4 days (your 'day' would just be shorter than a full time day). What do full time staff get? (Minimum is 28 days which is 5.6weeks x 5 days)

Thank you dementedpixie - that has helped! I think full time get 25 or 28 days but I will check this. That's given me something to work with! :-)
