Hi there, I know this discussion has been brought up many times but I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how to get bonus/commission payments for work done for your own company while on maternity leave? I have been pressured to do a lot of prep for while I am on leave - pretty much doing most of the work I would have been doing for projects happening next year - before I go. I am insisting on getting a bonus or commission, which I would have done if I was not on maternity but my company is suggesting I bill for it as a self employed next year. Seems dodgy to me. Would appreciate some advice!
