Jobs advertised as full time

Hi, I’m curious as to what the done thing is when applying for jobs.

I’m looking to change jobs, staying in the same kind of role but with a different company. All of these roles that I see advertised are full time.

Full time is not possible for me at the moment for various reasons. If they were prepared to take someone on part time, would they necessarily state this in a job advert? Should I enquire before applying?
Not sure what the doneBlush thing is

Lots of jobs advertised full time but will take less, can’t hurt to enquire - if you are suggesting 4 days not 5 may be more feasible then 2.5 days but you never know

Hi, I'm a nurse and I am in the same. Position, I want part time but all the jobs are advertised part time.
I spoke to HR and they told me to still apply as they may have 2 or 3 jobs at full time so could potentially accomadate part time.

I've also been emailing and putting it out there...
I currently do X amount of hour and X days... Is this a stictly full time position or would you consider part time?
And also a bit of background to who you are and what experience you have.

I'd second what Digestive28 said - 4 days might be feasible but very part time might not. You could also ring someone for a chat before applying.
