Hi all.
I work full time 8-5pm, and have run out of holiday until 2020. I have had mild depression and anxiety for the last year or so, and have been invited to a 2 day anxiety course, which I have signed up to.
However, because I have run out of annual leave, I cant just take these two days as leave. I have two options - take these days as unpaid leave, and not tell my boss the reason. Or, tell my boss I have been diagnosed with anxiety and ask to go to this course without having to take unpaid leave.
FYI, I'm 25 years old, have been with my current company for 2 years and work as a surveyor for a construction company.
please could I have some advice?!
thanks everyone in advance.
