You can register as a sole trader with the HMRC or you can form a Limited Company with the Companies House, both of which have pros and cons. My advice would be to do some research on it. Open a FB page for your business and make sure that if you do get a website that it is designed to make your business stand out. Start getting the word out to your friends and family in the meantime.

Start small. You may not need a website, you don't need an accountant, you don't need to register as a business, you don't need a business bank account.

Start generating revenue, register with HMRC as a sole trader and go.
Take further steps as you need them.

To start a business, you first need to have a client base, a finished product for sale, and a team to get started. By the way, I saw an interesting model recently there www.splento.com/corporate-photographer-liverpool when I was looking for a photographer for a corporate photo shoot. Rather, not even a model, but a qualitatively different quality of service.

Not for all businesses.
