Hi,

What do people do as a work from home job? I used to do marking but there isn't enough anymore.

I'm really dubious about MLM companies and I'm not entirely comfortable with having to pay to join something but if they are reputable and not too much then maybe it's worth it.

I have a couple of jobs - I work as a childminder, but only older kids, so after school and holidays, I run a business selling a specific item online which I deliver to my local area one day a week, and also make things using my art/craft skills. None of them earn me a massive amount but with tax credits and maintenance from my XH I am able to make a living and be home for my DCs after school.

Hard to say without knowing if you have particular skills and experience.

Assuming you don't (I really don't mean that rudely but I don't know how else to put it, sorry!)… I don't know if this even exists any more, but years ago I used to do freelance typing up of audio transcripts from home. Only needed a computer.

You could try Arise, they provide a virtual call centre service. I worked for them for a while and found them fair and I was always paid on time.

Hi, I think that as long as you do your research you will find that there are reputable direct selling companies out there. Make sure you understand the rates of commission and what is expected of you. Are there sales targets or minimum activity requirements - is this something you want or do you not want the pressure? I enjoy working around school hours selling bracelets and charms through Creative Puddles. Good luck finding the right role! X
