Is there any demand for someone who you just pay to do your paperwork for you?

I don't mean accounts (am not qualified) but I mean things like, sending your invoices, answering your emails and replying, just sending you the important info ie contact details and a brief summary, copying / filing documents, sending letter etc etc?

Weirdly, I really like doing paperwork and communication all of those things, but don't want to do it for my own company, but would quite like to do it all for someone else or several other people/companies?

i'm thinking like tradesmen who are brilliant at their trade but shite when it comes to paperwork and organisation?

does such a thing exist? am I being ridiculous?

I work full time at the moment but thinking it is the kind of thing I can do out of hours?

God yes! Virtual assistant or similar. I’d love one if I could afford it.

If you want to do it around your current job, then avoid PPH etc as people will expect you to work FOR them, when THEY say so. Of course, this will be the same for your own site but you can then say you're unavailable at this time and that time. I don't believe you can turn down work on PPH if you want to keep your listing on there.

You can turn down work on PPH. I get a lot of work through there and it suits me - usually when I contact a client or they contact me, we set a deadline by negotiation.

It's hard to do around a current job as obviously things like quotes etc need to go out at specific times, so do make clear how many hours you can offer and lay out expectations at the start! Good luck!

Thanks everyone i think i will give it a go, even just for experience and a little extra income on the side.

Or if you don't want to work online you can become someone's PA which could involve following them around and going on business trips with them etc
