Becoming a lettings agent

I'd appreciate any advice. I have some experience of working in property management and am thinking of starting up alone. I do not have any professional qualifications relating to this- is this necessary/advised? Are there any obvious pitfalls? I'm thinking this could suit me as a work from home business to earn money while the dcs are young. TIA

Have you thought about joining one of the franchises? That could give you ARLA membership etc as well as access to advertising on Rightmove etc
