Hi All

I am new to Mumsnet and what a wonderful site! I have spent hours browsing these pages! Not what I needed for my no distraction 2016 Grin

Anyway, I am a marketing freelancer and because of demand, I have recently decided to offer my services through a company.

Do you guys have knowledge of sites where projects for companies, rather than just freelancers are advertised?

Outside of large tenders and PPH, I cant seem to find any. Do they even exist?

Many thanks for any help in advance!

Why not try traditional sales techniques? Cold calling, events/conferences, blog (your own as well as guest posts), advertising...

Thanks for your reply StuffEverywhere!

Yes we do, as well as many other strategies.

Applying for projects advertised was just one of the potential acquisition strategies we are exploring.

It's only just dawned on me that outside of PPH and public sector contracts, I have no experience or knowledge of projects being advertised for small companies/freelance groups rather than individuals......

I'm beginning to wonder if they exist!

I wouldn't have thought so. Why? This is what tender does, essentially. Or alternatively it's possible to explore different options (companies) at industry events.

I think people when they are looking for marketing services:

  • ask someone they know for a recommendation
  • search LinkedIn
  • google
  • look up people they are aware of from previous approaches/social media
  • look on directories eg CIM

I get what you are saying but I don't think it exists.

PPH has companies on it, however the money/expectations from those posting is often low as you might know.

I am a marketing freelancer.
