I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I'd appreciate your advice afresh!
I'm starting out as a freelance marketer and copywriter and am a bit daunted by all the agencies out there and who to register with. I do plan to work my old contacts and build a network that way, but thought it would also be good to build a relationship with one or two agencies as a second stream of work.
I was previously a marketing director in financial services, and have also done the diploma in copywriting and bits and pieces of content production...I could turn my hand to any kind of writing or editing, but obviously financial services would lend itself to my experience well.
Is there anyone out there successfully getting a stream of work via an agency, for marketing or writing/editing? Is there an agency that specialises in the financial services sector? Any other tips for success?
Hey there! I’m not so sure about where you can look for a job as a freelance copywriter. In case you need some help with your contents, though, there are a lot of companies offering copywriting services who can attend to that. I’m sorry if I’m not much help. Anyway, sending my warmest good luck to you!
