Online calendar, wall, or paper - which do you use and what works best?

I've been changing my system for years using various online tasks and calendars but find nothing works better than my wall calendar for appointments. Now I am getting more business appointments what do you think is the best system?

Thanks :)

I use a filofax off of the 80s as I like to be able to see it all in front of me. I find a day to view allows me enough space to include all the details of the meeting.

I think for me it is more about how I use it rather than the method.

We also have an Organised Mum calendar for family stuff. I can see that online would be useful for this as then I know DH would have it in his calendar but not sure I am ready to give up the paper yet!

Filofax are still going strong, they must have some purpose.

I've got a good diary now which has two sides so I use one side for 'business' stuff and one side for family. Works well so far, I find it far more helpful to have things on paper. The minute they go on a computer I can't take them seriously. I have several online task lists that bleat at me on a regular basis and I just ignore them. If I write it down on paper I take it so much more seriously.

Well, I'm a PA so spend my life organising other people's lives...

Online calendar all the way here. We use Outlook at work and my boss has a Blackberry. For personal stuff, I use Google Calendar with my iPhone.

Pros
You can add recurring events without having to re-enter them (i.e. Birthdays).
You can add loads of info to a single calendar entry (i.e. full address, agenda items, notes, docs, etc.)
You can send invites to other people - DH regularly gets invited to the cinema, dinner, etc.
You don't have to re-write something if the appointment changes. You just change the date to move it.
You can view your calendar by the day, week, month and also when you're out and about on your smartphone.

Paper diaries make me shudder...

Vase I think I have commitment issues with anything online. It's about getting one system and sticking to it I guess.
