Hi, I am thinking of setting up as a sole practitioner solicitotr. Anyone on here done similar? Any tips gratefully received

Check out the cost of PI insurance before you commit to this path, you may be horrified surprised!

I can tell you're a solicitor because you haven't answered rangirl's question (which is a key one by the way).

business law sole practice = easy = effectively a part-time in-house lawyer for several companies.

general litigation sole practice on the other hand - you'd have to be stark raving mad!
