Sitting here trying to find the words as with true sadness we are starting this thread for our wonderful Trazzles. Her beautiful, smiling, sparkling Joseph devastatingly died from neuroblastoma in July. Many of us followed their ongoing journey, that rocky old road, dedicating our ‘splodges of light’ around the globe as we thought of them, always sending love. Joseph touched the hearts and lives of so many, as did his mum, ours included. We are so sorry. He will live long in our memories, bless him.
We are so glad that Trazzletoes has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, it will truly have love in every stitch for her, DH and DD, and as a tribute and celebration of a life filled with love for Joseph.
She said… His favourite colour was pink, followed by blue. He loved swimming, water and the seaside - we spent a lot of time on the beach in Scarborough. We had a lot of nicknames for him, but the most common one was "fish". He enjoyed rock climbing in the Pennines and watched Pokémon endlessly. He was always happy and never stopped smiling, he was full of love.
We shall need crocheters, knitters and donors. If you would like to donate wool or funds, we shall need both and we can match you up. If you would like to join in but need donated wool, we can help there too.We have part balls if any hookers need yarn, please say. Please PM us with your offers of help THANK YOU SO MUCH.

There is support for buying colours on our website, here. Previous blankets can be seen on our website
Squares to be six inches, using 4mm needles or hook, no blocking of squares and please knot off sturdily when changing colours or finishing, leave a good end and use a needle to sew in the peskies.
Now parallel to this Knotty and I would very much like to organise a fundraiser in Joseph’s name, and we would like to make a blanket in this colour scheme to auction in the run up to Christmas. We asked Trazz to think of a charity she would like us to support and she has chosen the Candlelighters charity who support families facing children's cancer in Yorkshire. They get involved in all sorts of different projects to help ordinary families who are facing extraordinary circumstances, and they supported Joseph and his family over the years. So pleased we can do this for them too with your love and support. xx
So we are asking for extra squares. Please help with this too if you can, and parcel them separately ‘Candlelighters’
When ready for posting, please PM for info. As always, thank you so much for your support, we will set a last posting date in a day or so.
