Please let me know if this isn't allowed but thought I'd ask. With the winter months coming quick and it getting colder, I'm wanting to do care packages for all the homeless people around the city. I'm. Wanting to include things like blankets, hats, scarfs, etc and anything else anyone thinks would be good. I do however need help in making these things, so if anyone can help with anything and everything that they think would be worth including that would be amazing

What a wonderful idea! Which city or area are you in or do you think everyone should do something for their own area? I have considered for so long to join the sock mob, but with my dc never could :(

I would also agree that woolly blankets are maybe too heavy and hard to carry for homeless.
So maybe focus on:

  • socks
  • hats

-mittens
-scarfs

Could try and make each person a small package including one of each item? All can be worn so easy to carry

I'm in Liverpool Cheesecake53. If you knit/crochet then if you make blankets, hats, scarfs or whatever you think would work well for it and if you want to then either pass them out to homeless in your area or you can send them to me and I can hand them to people in my area mrsfuzzy
