Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

Great idea, Pidjin. Makes sense and a lovely thing for Blondes to have.

I'll do what I can then. Do you fancy being lovely and letting her know?

Pidj,

just heard from Blondes: she's very touched by the idea and would be honoured to receive one.

Right, to work then!

I'm having a think...maybe sometime.

Idle hands and all that!

How many have you got and how many do we need?

Until all the rindercella ones are in I can't tell. I should have a rough idea by the end of this week, though

Ok, we're still working on the admin bit. However, if anyone is interested in contributing, either knitting or crocheting a square, or wanting to buy for others to knit, you can PM me.

Colours: pinks, blues, lilacs all good.

Do you have a date in mind for squares for Blondes? - I'd love to contribute, but I'm up to my eyeballs in a work project which has to be finished by end May/begin June, but if you want squares after that I'm happy to help. If that's too late, then I wish you good luck, you are a trooper purplepidjin Smile

Ok, please please please don't send me wool, I'm swimming in it! Squares to the usual address (ie same as for Edgar and Rinders) PM me if you need it again Grin

If woolly folks can match themselves with crafty folks that'd be best. Knitted or crocheted, 4mm hook or needles, 6" square, Debbie Bliss Cashmerino or Rowan Cashsoft in Double Knit (NOT baby cashmerino or chunky, please) and any pretty colours you like! Textures, mixed colours, motifs etc all welcome.

I'm still waiting for all the Rinders' squares to come in, so I won't get on to that until at least the end of this week. So, if I can get all the Blondes squares in by the end of the month that'd be awesome. Otherwise the timescales get silly Hmm

Oh, well done everyone.

Sad that we have the need for yet another blanket though.

Do you need any money for postage? Am happy to donate towards it.

BecauseImWorthIt · 11/05/2011 22:04

Do you need any more cash? I can't do anything creative, but I'm happy to donate money - or time, if you need anything re admin of any kind?

And would like to echo MmeLindt. How awful it is that so many of these have been needed in such a short space of time Sad
