I was under the impression that saying sex is binary means that in humans it requires two gametes for sexual reproduction - the large gamete (egg) from the woman and the small gamete (sperm) from the man.

Nothing to do with how many genders there are.

Like it or not, there are scientists who will support the 'sex is a spectrum and not a binary' line.

I might not support it but it would be unwise not to expect that IOC has a phalanx of scientists ready to argue this.

My guess would be no, what if the body was cremated? What has procreation got to do with sports? Sexual intercourse has what to do with sports?
