I have had to dig out ALL the stats because stats VITAL for protection of women and girls (not excluding transmen) "are gathering dust" in the darkest recesses of the database. So much for the sorrow and shame of Robert Buckland QC MP (Minister of Justice) and Pritis Patel MP (Home Secretary).

PS: they also ignored the expensive painful lessons of the #IICSA inquiry about the importance of language. Attached last 5 years stats so you can see defo that (statistical evidential statement) MOJ stats 2016-2020 (here I have the rest back to 2001) show that "more than 99% of all sexual offenders* are MALE"... when you have a mo go and find me some sexually offending transmen. Maybe I am not very clever with Google? 100-1 = ? Govt should be producing the stats to EDUCATE the public ie rape juries but they sit on the stats. My hjab nurse was horrified, she know it was more (vaguely) but her face was stunned. Use the graphics wisely, or by all means help me find graphicy people who can do a better job but THIS is the best available bringing the whole story together.

Where are the sexually offending transmen (transgender females TGFs)
I can find one since 2013....

Curiously this TINY persecuted minority has generated 81 sexual offenders but Women (female for disambiguation) with a population of 30 million only generated 127.
So 66% of the number of sexual offenders and...80% transgender offenders are MALE (transwomen) in the absence of a GRC, which is "in transition" by MOJ definitions... which for the purposes of inclusion, exclude the only transgender offenders with any objective evidence of being transgender!

Image I think you can see that both lesbians and transmen are...strangely NOT included!

I completely agree, but I wonder how this would work in practice.

For example, could a trans woman who was charged with rape be entitled to anonymity in media reports? After all, to reveal a trans person’s birth sex would reveal their trans status.

Maybe this would be a price worth paying for accurate crime statistics?

May I suggest that "trans-" is a prefix not an adjective. It is very noticeable the judges used "trans" "woman" - does that mean a transwoman or a transman. The nound "woman" is taken thank! I can be very kind (and have been for 40 YEARS but while transwomen may gender identify AS IF women, they are not women who are female people who dont gender identify AS anything. Do you see what I mean. I believe this "trans-" is part of the manippulation.
Just a thought for you to ponder but I advise against using it.

Also I was a school teacher and had a few good instincts with young people. This "trans-" that doesnt mean anything by itself...isn't it a bit cool and funky and might it be attractive to yooung people. Id say in the interests of NOT making it attractive and casual that we take it very seriously INDEED. I have a pet name "The Return of the Transborg" I am sick of hearing it too!
