Wha? I mean? EH?!?

It's like apologising for borrowing your sisters jacket in 1992, whilst wearing her ENTIRE WARDROBE.

It's a widely reported story, just starting to wonder if a clever journalist could take the next step in this story. I'm sure there is another thread from this ...

Just one more step along the learning curve and they'll get there ....

Cognitive dissonance is an interesting phenomenon.

“It makes me sick to my core to see numerous people in the LGBTQ+ community who are profiting off of making a mockery and disrespecting peoples cultures,” French wrote in the caption of the post.

hmm

Gobsmacking.

I think I've assumed that they know what they're doing. They're just propping up all the polite lies and validations and dogmas. But this sounds like they actually really and truly don't see that they're "apologising for borrowing your sisters jacket in 1992, whilst wearing her ENTIRE WARDROBE." (Perfect analogy, JustcameoutGC.)

This boggles my mind a bit. I watched the first ep and I don't think there was a contestant over 35. How anyone of that younger generation could ever think blacking up is okay in this day and age is pretty unfathomable.

"It makes me sick to my core to see numerous people in the LGBTQ+ community who are profiting off of making a mockery and disrespecting peoples cultures,” said the original complainant. Ah. I get it now.

I watched that

Ds1 and boyfriend are big fans and i asked why he was crying

I agree with brave I don’t understand how these people can say they didn’t know they were causing offence....it’s bloody obvious!
