The main reason that women are so angry is that the law was changed, our pension contributions were stolen to different extents nd although the post April 2016 pensioners were told we were getting the full new pension. Many of us did not. In the current climate this change should be reversed in order to free up whatever jobs are done by the “vulnerable” over 60s for younger fitter people.

Ereshkigalangcleg, if you go to HMRC you can check NI contributions, although to be honest you need a UTR (unique taxpayer reference) and it's a bit of a faff/complicated for an older person - perhaps best to phone HMRC directly?
