That is a great piece, proper skewers the pompous prat. Good ole Private Eye.
They’ve been great on this issue.
That's brilliant. I didn't know of his targeting of PestFix. What a nasty piece of work. He's got some kind of Crusader Complex (I think that's the technical term ).
Never will get over his zeal at bludgeoning a fox to death last year.
Oh, that's a joy to read.
The guy sounds unhinged. A very small amount of public attention seems to have gone compleatly to his head.
Tho it is always funny to see posh people losing the plot and acting the fool in public.
Do you think he's blocked the private eye account on twitter?
It amused me that the PPE company he objected to is called PestFix, especially when lots of farmers and hen keepers think that foxes are pests. He has his own methods of fixing 'pests'!
What a terrible article. From what I've read and seen Maugham seems to be upholding everything this article claims he's against. PestFix should rightly be questioned especially given its owners links to the Conservative party, certainly makes you wonder how a firm with no experience in PPE can be given millions of our tax money.
Is that you Jolly?

Lol, read it again to check why I thought it was a good article. Arguing that judges are in no position to tell families how to behave is not a good look for someone in the law profession & quite rightly his conduct should be investigated by the Bar Standards Council.
It does all seem to have gone to his head.
I unfollowed him immediately after fox-gate.
Government procurement contracts should indeed be challenged & examined for corruption & fraud & I definitely support that happening whether its the Good Law Project or others; JM's conduct on twitter is a completely different issue particularly if he is targeting & harassing individuals & companies & bringing his sector into disrepute. I remember seeing that tweet about parents knowing what's best for their kids & thinking he surely does not believe that bollocks.
JM gets a brief mention in the (startlingly good, no punches pulled) review of Irreversible Damage in the latest issue. Spoiler: the reviewer compares the treatment of adolescent girls by gender clinics to the fad for lobotomies.
