Government consulting on Violence Against Women - deadline 19 February 2021

We are seeking your views to help inform the development of the government’s next Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy. We are particularly keen to hear from people who may feel underrepresented in previous strategies or who feel their circumstances were not supported by existing services.

In addition to those with lived experiences of these issues, we are also seeking the views of those with expertise in working with victims and survivors, those involved in preventative activity, and those involved in providing services. This includes relevant professionals, such as those working in social care, education, law enforcement, local government, public health and healthcare.

Everyone aged 16 or over is welcome to contribute to the call for evidence, you do not have to have experienced violence or abuse to take part.

Never sure how any of these consultations work - and as one of the issued is not enough money for women's refuges and rape crisis support, it would help if they committed to that as a start.

And ensured that funded projects weren't put under pressure to give up the option of using the right to single sex spaces as provided under the Equality Act!

Sorry about that - I did check, but you got in so early I didn't see.

On another thread someone said searching via google got better results than mumsnet's own search facility.

But maybe would have been better to post on monday. so may come back and bump if not one has responded.

If I'm looking for something I google what it is + Mumsnet and I always find what I'm looking for!

Will bump - or maybe do a list of current consultations (open and pending). I did a trawl of the gift website and found one on abortion pills due next Feb/March too.

Have only just registered this. Having said the consultation is about Violence Against women they then say:
