Thank you for posting that link. The Senator continues to speak the truth and to keep the matter raised in parliament .

Sadly, yes.

Like many other countries.

She’s amazing. It’s concerning that no one is paying any attention.

Wonderful speech, brilliant woman.

Does anyone know how it was received there?

Senator Claire Chandler is always very clear, logical and articulate on women's rights and trans issues. We need more politicians like her in this country.

There has been barely a whisper here. It hasn’t been in the news at all outside of The Australian which has been consistent in it. I think there was one article in the Sydney Morning Herald initially but nothing about Senator Chandler’s speech. She also spoke amazingly the next day about child sex abuse. It’s on her YouTube page.

The silence has been deafening which makes her all the more remarkable for speaking out. I emailed her to thank her.

Gif I wish that senator was in the uk parliament. Why can’t we have some strong women who are prepared to stand up and speak up for women and children.

You should see what Ireland have done "the best little country in the world in which to be a trans woman" (to misquote a previous Taoiseach).
