Wonder how many trans men are going to be front and centre today?

Perhaps the day could be used to highlight the law change needed in regards to transmen and Primogenture (?)

Because it's also World Toilet Day I think it's a good opportunity to highlight the reasons why women and girls need privacy - from the men.

Absolutely.

Who is the wonderful woman who did the talk on the need for women and girls to have access to safe clean toilets around the world (including here).

Was it as part of a WPUK talk?

They will never do that PurpleHoodie. It would put biological men at a disadvantage. It would be open to abuse by nasty opportunistic women. It's important to protect male safe spaces.

Confused

But. Transmen ARE men, they say! Anything else is transphobic. Yes??

Equality in regards to Primogenture!

Back to International Toilet Day.

Good idea OP. Let's dedicate this thread to raising awareness of the many issues transmen face in the UK and around the world.

  • Pregnancy diacrimination
  • Lack of access to abortion and reproductive heapthcare
  • Lack of access to proper breastfeeding support and education
  • Period poverty
  • Sex selective abortion
  • FGM
  • Physical and sexual violence
  • A system of medical science that is designed around the bodies of people born with penises, meaning that people born with vaginas are disadvantaged at every level within health care.
  • Health campaigns that invalidate them and gatekeep manhood by referring to "men with prostate cancer" etc rather than "prostate havers".
  • The legacy of inequality and unequal wealth distribution resulting in part from people with penises withholding the right to vote/work/own property etc from people with vaginas for so long.

And that's before we even start talking about things like the transphobic requirement that transmen who take testosterone not be allowed in men's sports, primogeniture laws, or those penis fetishists in the gay community cruelly gatekeeping gayness from them.

I'm sure we all would like to take a moment to stand in solidarity with transmen on these issues, today on international men's day.
