Protecting Men at the Women’s Shelter

Not the solution for all the issues, but perhaps we should provide everyone - male and female - with self-contained places to stay. No-one should have to live in a 'shelter'.

Better facilities yes, and self-contained with communal spaces would be good. Wish there was £milllions for women, it's badly needed

I'm in a refuge and not being able to have a safe space away from any other humans especially with the virus is pushing me over the edge. I want to go home.

The shelter in the article sounds terrible and very unsafe. It sounds like they are sharing sleeping accommodation (with men).

This is in the US though I hope no shelters in the uk are like this.
