Yes angry here as well.

I have been trying to find another source, but only found the one below.

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/whatsnew2day.com/transgender-woman-faces-jail-after-giving-14-year-old-girl-valium-to-hungry-jacks/amp/

It seems she is out of ICU and able to give a victim impact statement.

I think it is a slippery slope if any kind of gender preference would have a different penalty scale. Is there any legal basis for this being argued, does anyone know?

Should have thought about vulnerability when supplying a vulnerable child with drugs.

Don't want to go to jail, don't break the law. Simple.

No sympathy.

Have there been cases where people have been spared jail because of their ‘vulnerable’ status? If so I guess this kind of defence will become more common.

Reminds me of the men who get caught perving (upskirting and spying on a young girl in a shower being two recent examples that spring to mind) who try to use stress of work as a reason to be spared punishment.

There have been jail sentences waived on these grounds.

I'm glad the girl has recovered and hope she is being looked after.

I suppose no one knows what happened while she was unconscious.

The thing is, girls in trouble usually approach women for help. Because of what men can be like. This girl approached a woman who drugged her and took her back to her place...

Momentary lapse, my arse. Seized an opportunity, more like!
Not that this ever happens, of course!

The girl said "she was taken advantage of" - does that mean assaulted or given the drugs??

Whatwouldscullydo · 01/09/2020 14:05

In what way would they be vulnerable?

More so than troubled young teenage runaway given drugs who could have died? Hmm

I'd also bet my back molars that this crime will be recorded as having been committed by a female.

That is not a woman, that is a man (David Willan) that drugged that 14yr old girl. Why are you willfully and erroneously misrepresenting the perpetrator? He is obviously a deranged human - supporting his delusions hurts actual girls/women/females.

MNHQ, it is clear that the perpetrator is a male AKA David Willan that identifies as a woman and at the very least drugged an underage girl/female almost resulting in her death (ICU remember).

If I understand correctly we can say this without deletion due to the circumstances. Please advise if I broke a rule by stating the truth as written in the article (included transwoman status and AKA or original/birth name prior to transition).

Of course it is, I have zero doubt.

I'm looking forward to finding out what the sentence will be.

I think offenders in general make stupid excuses about why they offended which are sometimes accepted and sometimes rejected by the courts. Drugging a vulnerable 14 year old runaway should mean there is no leniency shown, the child was ill enough to end up in intensive care.

A grown man gave drugs to a 14 year old girl, took her back his flat where she blacked out? and is now worried about what will happen to him?!

Have I read that right?

Report
NiceGerbil · 01/09/2020 17:30

My point is that the girl probably approached someone she thought was female.

Who drugged her and took her home and ???

This sort of thing is a crime that almost always is carried out by men.

If the girl had thought this was a middle aged man would she have asked for the phone.

I'm sure you see what I'm driving at.

What is it that makes this person a woman, exactly?

Report
Whatwouldscullydo · 01/09/2020 17:36

Are you trying to use what happened to that poor girl as proof of passing and validation?

Really?

Look at the picture. You cant mistake anything

And does it matter how she ended up there? She was drugged. And everyone's more concerned with how jail will be for the culprit. Hmm

NiceGerbil · 01/09/2020 17:53

Are you both talking to me?

I think you misunderstand where I'm coming from.

Report
NiceGerbil · 01/09/2020 17:54

Yes it does matter as many children are taught to approach shop person/ police/ person with kids/ woman if they need help.

Report
NiceGerbil · 01/09/2020 17:55

I don't know whether the girl read this person as male or female.

Just a point I'm trying to make that does not seem to be landing!

Soubriquet · 01/09/2020 17:56

It doesn’t say whether the poor girl was sexually assaulted or not

I hope not but the fact she blacked out and was taken back to his apartment doesn’t bode well.

Let the fucker rot in prison

He is no more vulnerable than any other criminal

I know what my guess would be.

If she felt able to ask for help or knew who to go to she probably wouldn't have run away from home.

The TW is concerned that their gender will put them at risk behind bars?

Who from? Men or women? It's not their gender as to why they are at risk.

Let's face it, men and women in prison will both want to twat this fucker as there are no good reasons for giving a 14 year old
Valium.
