(122 Posts)I’m just going to go & scream into a void somewhere
What the fuck is wrong with people 😳
I suspect that void is going to become pretty crowded. JFC!
Vulva owner? Well, I suppose they are quite reliable cars, if a bit on the clunky side.
Think that's the worst one yet...
As per usual, the word Man is used with no problem.
Insanity. How many gross and disturbong terms do we need for women now we aren't allowed to call ourselves women any more? Why are we being reduced to mere vehicles for our reproductive organs in 2020?
See what I did there? I always wanted to drive a Volvo but only ever got as close as a Saab...

The word Men that should say
I see the word 'partner' but not 'man' in 'men'?
'Look at me everyone, being all woke and 'inclusive', aren't I great, hyuck hyuck'.
What an absolute try-hard. Pathetically cringey.
Transphobic phrase - excludes anyone who doesn’t have a vulva - though their scrotum might identify as a vulva I suppose?
Perhaps Tanya Koens wants to be inclusive of animals who are also vulva owners. Bestiallity anyone?
The advice in this article is so staggeringly bad.
Also very don’t remember purchasing my vulva. Can anyone remind me where I got it from? Vulvas r us possibly?
How very "progressive" of this lot. Absolutely disgusting. Males are always allowed to be called men, but god forbid calling a woman a woman. Sickening.
If she’s goes with “vulva owner” yet somehow fails to mention that the people “using sex workers” are coincidentally always “penis owners”.
Also a lot of really “Great“ stuff in there about how the men “using a sex worker“ is probably your fault, vulva owners.
A caution: it is not OK to unilaterally shut down your partner's sex life if you have not been feeling like sex
It’s perfectly OK to unilaterally decide not to have sex if one does not feel like it for any reason, anything else is assault surely?? Of course he’s welcome to leave if he doesn’t like it.

Abso-fucking-lutely
I’m beginning to loathe the word people
Girl children have vulvas too. Maybe she wanted to include them too.
Is this where we start tweeting, posting, writing that in fact 'vulva owners' is a very vague term?
As PPs have stated, other animals do indeed have vulvas and really in the context of this, it could refer to bestiality which would also be a chargeable offence. It really does change the context of this discussion.
And I hang my head that it was on old aunty. I despair for the ABC. I really do.
The erasure of the female body proceeds as intended. While the husband is still the husband and a man is still a man, the wife becomes a vulva owners.
So if a vulva owner cannot have sex for a while it is perfectly acceptable to use sex workers then?
Oh dear. Please other vulva owners DO NOT approach this vulva owner for advice - she knows shit and gives shite advice
I too read Volvo owner. Nice and reliable as far as I can remember.
I’m almost more offended by the mistaken use of disinterested (in sex).

Men is in the link to her friends paper. See excerpt below.
"From her paper researching men who buy sex, she spoke to participants who said their primary relationship did not satisfy their sexual needs."
I've got a Volvo coming for a 3 day test drive next week. What a different sentence that would be if Volvo was misread in the same way!
