Blossom Brush: What The Actual Fuck or ... Good Idea?

Blossom Brush. A pink (obviously) silicone brush thing for popping up your hoo hah and having a good old rummage to get out all that nasty period debris. A sort of chimney sweep for your lady garden.

First thought was WHAT - yet another thing coyly insinuating YOU ARE NOT CLEAN ENOUGH.

No similar willy scouring device possibly presented in pin stripes or camouflage green available for chaps, I see.

On the other had, no faffing about with 'menstruators' and 'uterus havers' though - here it's 'Women' 🤗 & 'Feminine hygiene' 🤔 - They dare to use the words for the sex that doesn't exist.

And I'm starting to wonder - could it actually be a good product? I'll never need one now, and Dr Jen Gunther's not impressed, but what do we think?!

From the USA , where 'douching' is a thing.

Not sure if they have Anne Summers though...Grin

Don't put it in your toothbrush holder by mistake 😂

I am not clicking on that or I'll have adverts for it following me around the internet for ever.

I mean, what?? The thought of brushing my vagina makes me shudder.

On a practice note; they recommend one $20 dollar brush per cycle! This is terrible for the environment and makes having a period ridiculously expensive. Its completely unnessceary.

Yuk. Thinking that it has a much much higher chance of doing damage and introducing infection and problems than anything else.

I would like to know what a blossom is?

NO! The vagina is a self-cleaning organ. Seriously, NO! You do not need to clean things out. If you think you may have a retained tampon for instance, contact your local GUM or 111.
However if you think this may give you a bit of pleasure, go for it.

That's a pretty depressing product I have to say.

Fucking hell. I have recurring cervical erosion and using tampons gives me awful cramps, never mind the after effects of sex, the idea of putting that anywhere near my vagina makes me shudder.

When did vaginas stop being self cleaning?
I had 15 years of periods and never needed more than soap and water or a hot wet flannel.
Ive got an implant now that stopped my periods, im not sure if i will be able to get it replaced in time with the pandemic but i wont be using one of those up there either way.
Maybe for a neo vagina it might actually be quite useful.

Surely anyone who thinks vaginas are so dirty they need a special brush to clean them would have first thought of anus-cleaning brushes.

The fact that they haven't speaks volumes Hmm

JackiesArmy · 18/07/2020 00:35

not that I'm suggesting rectums need cleaning either. ffs, leave people's bodies alone!

So basically a toilet brush for your vagina? Lovely associations there.

Cripes I thought it was a pastry egg brush thingie. Lol.

Why the fuck would you stick this up ur fanny 🤦‍♀️😝😝

It looks just the right size & shape to get the spout of my gravy separator jug clean, but there’s no way I’d stick it up my chuff.

Here's a cheaper alternative from Lakeland 😂

Have we been suckered into some knock-down stealth marketing consultation? It’s a hard NO from me.

Isn’t that what old toothbrushes are for? Never felt the need to buy a grout brush either. 🤷‍♂️

What new horror is this?

Who thinks of these things? I hope this thrush brush does not become a thing.

How depressing.

Just no. I'm crossing my legs just looking at it Confused
