Jesus, first arsehole on the thread rocks up with "you're a disgrace"...
Should these people be allowed on the Internet, or should they be content with a colouring book and crayons?

God I love her.

Heartening to see a whole lot of agreement and support in those replies. Tide, turning?

She is so funny. I want to drink wine with her.

She doesn’t give a fuck, does she? 😂

I wonder why she always does it at the weekend?

My sister and I sent her thank you cards for being a massive legend. I hope she knows what a difference she’s making.

I love it that she doesn’t give a shit, she’s amazing!

Brilliant.

Ironically, the pure venom and anger from TRAs show that they have no problems whatsoever being in touch with their emotions. They just choose not to to control them.

Wonderful. Do you think that all of the positive backing she's getting has helped her step up front and centre? I'm looking to her as a real spearhead now and I don't think she minds that I do😊

The best thing to come out of this is that JK has exposed all this to so many. I thought I was clued up, but embarrassingly, I had no idea that there was all this hatred towards women wanting to keep their spaces safe, and women themselves. Now thanks to JK and Mumsnet, I and many of my friends are informed and fighting back. There is so much more support out there now and it does feel like the tide is beginning to turn.

Mugglenet stands with JKR.

But only after hours of stomach churning and frantic pacing.

It's about time our TRA monitors asked themselves: 'are we the baddies?'

Well, the founder of mugglenet. He's not involved anymore, I think.

I want to win the lottery so I can join her very publicly, because I definitely would. I actually bought a ticket for this reason!

LOVED the Jamila Jameel prediction too! 😂

She is a magnificent woman.

I love how each time the twitter mob savage her, she pauses, then throws another comment into the mix. No fucks given. Another email, or possibly a real life sent through the post letter heading in her direction soon, I think.

And for those who might not know, Posie is selling 'I [heart] JK Rowling' t shirts. A slightly less blatant show of which side of the fence you sit, if the AHF ones are a bit too direct...

I wonder why she always does it at the weekend?

Because during the week she’s at her day job, promoting her children’s book The Ickabog and sending lovely messages to children. If she tweets anything controversial then, the hounds of hell descend on her Twitter timeline and posy awful, inappropriate stuff where kids might see it. It still happens in the week anyway (seriously, some is downright disgusting) but she obviously doesn’t wish to encourage them in ‘working hours’.

Dances · 04/07/2020 13:07

I love the Ickabog illustrations and her responses to them.

I mean, sorry, ahem, the nasty witch gave away a book to children during Covid and is donating the proceeds of the published book to charity. And engaging with her readers' feedback and illustration contributions? Evil cow!
