Google UK have shared a letter to send to Liz Truss on Twitter to show your support for the trans community...

You can edit the letter.

The MD or whatever of Google UK is Ronan Harris. Pretty sure he has at least one daughter. He retweeted the tweet.

I filled this in and changed ‘trans rights’ to ‘women’s rights’.

Two can play at that game, Google!

I'm horrified at this. The tweet is dated 18th June. Did we just miss it before now?

Now we know why Google got rid of the "Don't be evil" slogan.

Don’t even need to change email addresses.

I just cut and paste the content of the letter too. Very easily done.

Done - every reference to trans rights changed to women’s rights.

I hope Google doesn’t automatically pick up these emails as emails of support though!

In the bottom left hand corner, you can report the campaign as being ‘no good’ as well.

This was my attempt, but I got to the end and I'm too nervous to give google my details Blush

"I'm writing to you today as a UK citizen deeply concerned about proposed rollbacks to safeguards for women and children's dignity and safety in this country. On 14th June, The Sunday Times had as its front page an article on how the reforms to the Gender Recognition Act may be being shelved. Compounding the trans community's worries about this was that in the same article, prospective plans were revealed that would tighten the of exclusion of male people from female-sex spaces.

The consultation period on the Gender Recognition Act was very difficult for women - women's lives and dignity were debated as though their right to existence itself was up for debate. Still, 70% of respondents were overwhelmingly in favour of change. To ignore this would send a clear message to the country that manipulating democratic means does not lead to positive changes for the most irate activists who game the system. This would, of course, be a sensible message to signal from yourself as Prime Minister.

The threat of rollbacks to women and children's rights, dignity, and legal protections in the UK cannot be overstated. I’m asking you to carefully consider the direction you wish to take with regards to the dignity of 51% of the population in this country. Please do not allow women's lives to be used as a pawn in a game they didn’t ask to play – women simply want to get on with their lives and raising their children in safety and in peace.

Unduly excluding women and children from public life would be a huge step in the wrong direction, and a monumental loss to the UK's proud human rights record. Please do not allow this to happen under your watch"
