Scrolling mindlessly through facebook and see this ad for 'Wall art'. Basically decapitated female heads.

Click on their website and my mouth actually dropped open.

There's no male heads, just female.

Well one of the two artists who collaborated on this series (Fresh Meat by SH Sadler) is a female. And the whole point of the series is about how the beauty industry has become de-humanising. It is meant to be subversive. It is meant to be grotesque.

I think it works better as a subversive art piece for an exhibition than home decoration.

As an exhibition about dehumanisation it works by using shock as wall art it becomes part of the problem as it becomes titillating.
