This should be kept at the top of this forum for a very long time.

She brings me to tears, and we all owe her, you, Maya, and so many other feminists a huge debt, for such courage.

Joanne, if you're reading, I can't find the words to express my thanks.

I have just read it, and she is extraordinary. It is a wonderful piece of writing. I felt quite emotional reading it. I think it will prove to be an extremely important reference point and contribution in the course of this debate. Well done JK Rowling, and thank you.

Wow, that’s a huge piece of work, I hope it was helpful to her to write that. No one can say she hasn’t done the working this issue, no one.

Sadly I think the haters will use it as more ammunition against her.

I thought she was incredibly wise before, but now I have nothing but admiration and respect.

Wow. What a remarkable woman. As is Maya, and all the women who continue to fight for the rights of females.

I liked the part about it being easier to sit back and take the woke cookies - a subtle dig at Daniel Radcliffe (and now Eddie Redmayne).

She also knows that twitter isn’t everything and most people agree with her offline but are too scared to say so.

Well done Joanne Flowers

This brought me to tears. She said everything so eloquently and calmly. Despite everything that has been thrown at her over the past few months and especially days, she has even retained her sense of humour! I am in awe. Thank you, thank you, thank you JK Rowling for all you have done and are doing.

I am so, so grateful to JK Rowling for taking this stand. So many women aren’t able to because of doxxing and death threats and losing their jobs. She speaks for all of us. I hope she reads this. If you are reading this, THANK YOU.

Jo,
If you are reading, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I am howling crying, in gratitude.

I too have been the victim of serious abuse and the trans activist movement has caused me untold fear and worry. It has led me to despair and bewilderment as to why women are so hated by so many.

I documented my abuse in my submission to the Scottish Government's Consultation. But they ignored me and every other women's submission and told us that our bodies and lives and experiences didn't matter and that women don't matter.

I understand what this has cost you. I thank you for speaking out, so eloquently and so bravely.

Truly...Thank You xxxx

This. Also moved to tears here.

Joanne, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your grace, courage and honesty. Thank you for giving a voice to those of us who cannot, for whatever reasons, make our voices heard under our own name.

Solidarity and love, from one survivor to another xxx
