Little things you can do?

I’ve been reporting items promoting violence against women on Etsy.

If anyone wants to join me, I just searched terf and reported items with these sentences in the comments box ‘ Etsy does not allow hate speech against protected groups. Woman is a protected group. This item promotes violence against women.’

Anyone have any ideas what else I can do?

I don’t suppose it makes much of difference but every little helps. And I’m a beginner at doing stuff so need some guidance.

You can:

Correct Wikipedia (haven't figured out how but it can be done)

Write to your MP about anything and everything, rape crisis centres, schools indoctrinating children, mixed sex toilets

Sign petitions

Donate to LGB Alliance, Safe Schools Alliance, to Fair Cop or anyone challenging the judiciary with judicial reviews like Sue Evans

Ask you library to stock feminist books like Invisible Women or the so-called transphobic book "A Body is Me"

There was a thread on this before, I think it was "small acts of feminism", might be worth looking up for more ideas.

I’m getting back to basics - I’m posting on fb everyday about women and women’s issues, some things I’m sharing are bloody awful (today’s was about the 19 Yazidi women burned alive in Mosul as it the ‘anniversary’ of that atrocity) and others are just examples
of hidden everyday sexism, and im not commenting to say look this is what we are talking about I’m just posting the articles and links and letting them speak for themselves

I reported the terf stomper buttons about 5 years ago now - maybe more - and I didn't get a dicky bird back, and they're still for sale.

I don't buy through Etsy any more.

I have reported similar items on teespring and they were removed very quickly. Good reminder to check that and other sites again.

I also got my library to buy Invisible Women and I was first on the list for it....then lockdown!

I also put bookmarks in likely books pointing at useful websites.

Wiki you will have no luck (your edits will be undone) and if you keep trying you'll eventually get banned by the misogynists in chief.

I also email people to complain about their "incorrect" articles and comments/posts and ask they correct the false information. Those who do, move quickly and fix it. Those who don't ignore me, likely because they have no justification for their misogyny, to go with their non-existent backbone.
