Anyone else disappointed about the Olympics being cancelled because of the missed opportunities for peak-transing?

I can't help but think that the sight of the Chinese women's relay team will blow a few people's minds.

It's a positive because we actually have a whole year to try and get the ridiculous IOC rules changed.
If we can't, well, all the men competing against women will just do so next year instead, and that will have to be the peak trans moment for everyone.

eyebrowshame I agree with Gncq it means that hopefully there will be more evidence based research come to light that will mean they will completely change the inclusion of male bodied people in female categories in sport. Let's hope!

I agree with PP, anything that buys some time to prevent female athletes missing out on their opportunity to qualify for an Olympic Games. Their opportunities shouldn’t be squandered in order to make a point (however valid)

Like others I am hopeful that the ridiculous rules will be changed so that women who have trained for years aren’t robbed of their hard earned opportunities.

(OT but don’t you find the fact the bloody Olympics has been cancelled extraordinary)
