“The Tories, not a girl of 13, should be tackling this trans madness”

Another good article from Conservative Woman.

“It shouldn’t be this way. In a healthy parliamentary democracy our elected representatives would be standing up to narrow activist groups’ campaigning for such revolutionary ‘re-education’ of our children. Something has gone very wrong here, as many MPs who don’t sign up to the latest fads in genderqueer theory feel intimidated into keeping silent, leaving the ground clear for the ideologues to peddle their anti-scientific notions of brain sex and being born in the wrong body.”

Great article-our elected leaders need to get their heads out of the sand on this issue-children are being harmed by medical malpractice.

He's absolutely right. This 'hands off' approach by this government has allowed some very dodgy groups to have access to schools coercing them into removing safeguarding and children's rights to privacy and safety from the opposite sex.
It's also worth noting that these same organisations now self identify as sex and relationships "experts" and are now attempting to influence the teaching of this.
I can only hope that having to find the courage to deal with an appalling pandemic will finally empower politicians to challenge this anti science / anti facts / anti women ideology and get them out of schools

Politicians and all those too scared, too lazy, or too indifferent should hang their heads in shame at the fact a 13 year old girl has shown more bravery and integrity than they have.

Good article.

Its utterly disgusting that no one will help a 13 year old fight for her right to not have to get naked infront of oenis havers.

The politicians should be bloody ashamed of themselves. I wonder how many have accidently chatted up a transman/transwoman in a bar...they know exactly what a man and woman is. Angry know excamty who to ignore and throw under a bus too...no worrying about the gender identity of those women Hmm

Great article! The way that school girl explains things so clearly and concisely reminds me of this year old 12 girl in the USA.

It is shocking that her school board sided with the incoherent 17 year old male who desired and got the right to get undressed with little girls in school changing rooms.

I hope the UK courts have more sense - and I agree with the article that it comes to something when a schoolgirl has more courage than parliamentarians.

That male teenager was clever. Unlike the girl's statement, nothing in the second statement was about personal rights or preferences, nothing about personal dignity. The teenager merely asked for the genderist language to be formalised in the legislation (the rules?) in order to ensure that policies were applied consistently and could not easily be reversed.

That's exactly what the board did.

By not arguing against the girl's plea for privacy and dignity, the teenager implied that there was no conflict between their views.

Clearly the grown-ups weren't grown ip enough to work it out for themselves. Or maybe they did, and decided that girls' privacy, dignity and safety did not matter.

They dont care about the girls. That's the simple truth. They know what they are doing and they are complicit. I'm.done giving adults the benefit of the doubt or having sympathy for their plight. They are all willingly complicit in the sexual harassment and abuse if girls.

God I can't stand Conservative Woman. Laura Perrin is a mentalist. It makes me feicking furious that it's the likes of them and feicking Spiked talking sense on this shit and not the papers that were supposed to support feminism.

Mole it is appalling that the school board voted in favour of gender identity policies, when the 12 year old girl explained the reality so truthfully. The sooner this hideous ideology is out of our schools and out of our lives the better.

It's so bizarre when you could be given just the text of an article that is sound common sense and be hard pressed to say whether it was printed in The Times or The Morning Star! Grin

I suspect the conservatives think they can safely stand by and watch while the liberal left self destructs over transgender advocacy stripping women and girls of their right to privacy and dignity.

They are mistaken. We will remember their silence.

I worry that the current situation (and perhaps moreso the fallout) will take focus away from trans issues. Although admittedly I'm not particularly worried day to day as I've only seen a handful of trans individuals and never in the loo.
