There is some background here

makassar.tribunnews.com/2019/08/23/terbaru-skandal-vina-garut-alasan-v-pemeran-wanita-senyum-saat-layani-3-pria-nikah-umur-15-tahun

It is Indonesian, use Google translate. It says that she was married at age 15 because her parents did not provide for her.

At 17 she was forced to make the orgy video by her husband.

She has now been sentenced to 3 years in prison for making pornography, which is against the law in Indonesia.

The full thirty minute video is the first link on PornHub when you search for her name or city, both provided in most news reports, and there are numerous other copies being hosted by PornHub and other websites such as Xhamster, who host many hundreds of thousands of videos of underage women bring raped, of which they are completely reckless as to age and consent of those involved, and many of which are often very clearly likely to be underage due to clues such as school uniform etc.

www.thejakartapost.com/news/2020/04/04/lights-camera-prison-woman-in-west-java-imprisoned-for-starring-in-sex-videos.html

The woman got 3 years, the two male orgy participants 2 years 9 months. The husband/pimp died a few months ago.

From what I can make out the court took her smiling in the video to mean she had done this voluntarily?

Sorry, and of course the decision is appalling.

The "sex trade" is truly evil. It's a tragedy Indonesia enforces its ban on pornography in a way which is no help to victims.

That could be Didolamenting, girls are almost invariably found culpable, e.g., a school bus driver who had groomed several girls including one of around 13 yo, the argument was that they were willing, most likely following payment of cash. Apparently the girl was seen at home in her school uniform and it was suggested that she was a bit simple in that she was wearing her uniform whereas she has been kicked out of school for this.

I think it's quite common in such cases for the girls to soon find their way into work as full time prostitutes following the initial grooming.

Unfortunately this is how the law works in many countries, the woman who makes the complaint is at fault.

''Indonesia's top court has rejected an appeal by a woman who was sentenced to six months in prison for recording and sharing a phone conversation she had with her boss to prove that he was sexually harassing her.

The Supreme Court said Baiq Nuril Maknun was guilty of spreading "indecent" material.''

I don't think that's strictly what happened. It doesn't look as if making the complaint itself was punished rather than the distribution of the recording way beyond what was necessary to make the complaint.

The recording was presumably pornographic so distributing it on social media breached the rules on that

I don't agree she should be punished but it's not an illogical decision given Indonesia's law on pornography.

The first case is truly awful and takes no account that the victim never consented

The man was not punished, yet the recording was found to be so obscene that she was. Thats not logical.
She denies distributing it. It was taken from her phone without her permission and passed around.

This has some interesting background to Indonesia's stance on pornography.

I agree with the principle that pornography harms not just individuals involved in it or using it but society in general. How Indonesia applyies that is problematic.

The fact that all the big online porn companies happily content even after being advised it is rape/coerced/underage/revenge porn etc says it all.

Two major issues here both appalling.
