I was just pondering international woman’s day. Waking along Oxford Street and there is not one mention of it - no flag, poster. A couple of mother’s day things but that’s it.
So how come we have days, months, seasons of other things?
When’s our parade? We can’t even say ‘woman’ (see Sefton council twitter - they talk about ‘people with...’ uniquely woman’s health conditions yet when they promote a mental health day the tweet says it’s a out men with mental health issues (the visual doesn’t mention the sex of those it’s targeting).
