(16 Posts)I just wanted to say how impressed I am with some superb writing I've seen on these threads - standards of knowledge, thinking and writing on huge complex topics can often rival what I read in print and online news. Personal experience in so many fields eloquently and engagingly set out by transwidows, parents of ROGD children and children with autism and so many more. At its best I think Mumsnet is an important archive of what's happening now and why.
Hear hear!
<applause>
Yes!
Yes! I'm in awe of some of the posters here.
Indeed, the calibre of the women here is outstanding and I'm not just referring to intellectual knowledge.
Absolutely
I concur that the level of knowledge and ability to articulate complex issues is pretty exceptional here, on all kinds of subjects. I've learned so much since I started reading the things here. Thanks to all who participate.
Amen! 🙏
I agree, I'm so grateful at the knowledge and experience of many here who have given me facts that I can talk to others about in real life.
Yes! Fantastic women here. An inspiration
Seconded (and thirded etc). It's in stark contrast to those who rock up on here accusing and demanding - yet can never give a coherent rationale for all their demands that women give up our rights.
Thank you to so many awesome women.
Amazing women here, I agree.
I agree too.
Me, too.
Reiterating that I would like to read an antho of essays by Mumsnetters, in case there's any publishers looking for ideas.
That's a brilliant idea Scrimshaw.
Some of the brilliant posts on here move me to tears. A lot of gifted writers on here.
